PROFILE: Check Out Big House Recording Studios In Cape Town

Big House Recording Studios (Formally known as The Rooftop Recording Studios) started in 2004 by engineer and musician Matthew Davison who saw the need for an inspirational studio environment for artists in Cape Town. In November 2015, Matthew left the business, to pursue other aspirations, leaving ownership to Wesley Moolman, Nate Woodman and Devon Petersen.


The studios are located in the vibrant and trendy Woodstock. The studio space itself boast magnificent views of the lovely Table Mountain. The open layout of the studio combined with a large amount of natural sunlight and a relaxed vibe, all help to create an inspiring recording experience.

The Big House Recording Studios specializes in audio and video; offering services like sound production, composition for film, voice-overs for advertisements or dialogue replacements in television and radio.
