Last week Mac Miller officially , via social media, his upcoming album as well as the release of a new video. Mac will be releasing Swimming, his 5th studio album, on the the 3rd of August this year. The tracklist contains thirteen tracks, of which will include the previously released Small Worlds, and the recently released Self Care.
After a highly publicized break-up with singer Ariana Grande, and his DUI arrest, 2018 has not been the greatest year for the Pittsburgh rapper. Though many fans are trying to figure what kind of Mac we should anticipate, many believe that Self Care isn’t about his ex girlfriend, Ariana Grande. In the music video, Mac re-enacts one the most iconic scenes from Tarantino’s Kill Bill. The video starts off with Mac, who just like Beatrice Kido in the Kill Bill, is buried alive in a wooden coffin and lights himself a young cigarette before punching his way out.
