Last week saw the release of Mac Miller’s much anticipated 5th studio album Swimming. For most people, I’m pretty sure this album is everything we could have expected from Mac. Throughout the album we see Mac delve into his emotions and thoughts, embracing them as oppose to fighting them; eventually coming out on top and coming to terms with Change and the inevitable growth. There’s a sense of Embrace, which is followed by maturity and glow-up.
Mac’s NPR Tiny Desk Concert was released yesterday. Featuring Thundercat, the multi-genre bass guitarist and record producer, watch and enjoy Mac perform Small Worlds,What’s The Use, and 2009 from his Swimming album.
