Sneakerheads will rejoice this weekend once again with the releases from Jordan Brand, Nike, and Vans, all set to drop tomorrow.
To kick off our weekly top five sneaker drops this weekend, we begin with the Jordan Brand. The company made famous by Michael Jordan will be launching two silhouettes from their Air Jordan Retro collection. This brand will cater this weekend for both, men and women with their silhouettes. First up, is the Air Jordan XX Retro “Playoff,” the shoe which was first released in 2005 will feature in its new iteration a black and white colorway with grey accents on the interior, heel tab and midsole. The Jordan 20 will include Podular Suspension technology with a white and black outsole as well as the laser technology on the mid-strap. The second silhouette from the brand will be the girls “Hot Lava” Air Jordan 5 Retro. Featuring a predominately wolf grey upper, neutral accents and splashes of hot lava the shoe will go on sale tomorrow starting at 10AM.
Nike will make a splash this week with the release of two silhouettes as well. The Nike Kyrie 1 “Wolf Grey” will be one of the Swoosh’s releases which will feature an all grey upper with accents of white. The shoe will include mesh material and a metallic studded layer on the back heel, and is sure to sell out within minutes of its release. Another release from Nike will be the SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Canvas “Mexico City.” Taking inspiration from the new skatepark in Mexico City, the sneaker will feature a wolf grey upper with hits of university red and black throughout the shoe.
Closing out our top five will be the collaboration between European retailer, Sneakerstuff and Vans. Both brands teamed for the release of the classic slip-on LX “Stockholm.” Featuring a classic pattern from Vans’ archive, the color combination of the silhouette will feature a black and white canvas.
