Since its inception in 2008, Kool Out has been a pioneer in the Hip Hop space providing one of the largest platforms for the genre while producing some of South Africa’s most iconic concerts including Mobb Deep, Talib Kweli, Blu and Exile, Pharoahe Monch, and more. With multiple nominations for Promoter of the Year and King of Gauteng at the South African Hip Hop Awards, Kool Out has maintained street level credibility while remaining authentic to it’s brand.

Cape Town International Jazz Festival
Kool Out has assisted ESP Afrika with their youth oriented Baseline Stage in determining relevant international acts which has resulted in the booking of artists such as BadBadNotGood, Tom Misch, The Internet, and more.
Hyundai South Africa
Kool Out conceptualised and activated Hyundai's hugely popular VIP section at Afropunk 2018. The idea brought together an interactive experience that took attendees across the globe to Paris, New York and back to Johannesburg in one night through visuals, music, food, and fashion.
Sprite Uncontainable
Kool Out wrote and consulted on the Sprite Uncontainable campaign that ran for 4 years and introduced one of South Africa's most engaging Hip Hop projects. The campaign intersected the entire country developing local talent, pushing Hip Hop culture, and resulting in one of the most anticipated annual concerts.
Everyday People
In 2018, Kool Out launched the popular New York City based event Everyday People in South Africa. Since then, Kool Out has gone onto host the event for six sold out shows making it one of the most anticipated events on the South Africa events calendar.
Alchemy
In 2017, Kool Out launched the Alchemy Music Festival with a three day music series revolutionizing the music landscape as Africa’s first production based festival. This groundbreaking festival attracted over 5,000 attendees and trended across all social media platforms with the Tom Misch concert widely considered “Concert of the Year”.
Since then, Alchemy has partnered with Matchbox Live to dominate the new age Urban space by hosting concerts for Grammy Award Nominee Anderson Paak, Top Dawg Entertainment’s SiR, and Tom Misch.
Alchemy’s foundation is targeting South Africa’s new youth. This modern group determines its own path, is hip to global trends, internet savvy, and lives in a world beyond their immediate surroundings. This group is today’s trend setters and tomorrow’s entrepreneurs.
